The Inishowen League’s 2008/09 season has ended and it was another successful season for the league, Redcastle United regained the Jackie Crossan Premier Division with last years winners Clonmany Shamrocks runners up, Glengad United won the Strand Hotel First Division with Illies Celtic taking second spot, Moville Reserves won the Inishowen Engineering Reserves Premier division with Clonmany Reserves runners up, Culdaff Reserves won the Inishowen Engineering First Division after a play off with Quigley’s Point Reserves who were runners up, Moville Reserves won the Reserve League Shield beating Clonmany Reserves in the final, Clonmany Shamrocks won both the William Grant West End League Cup and the Buncrana Credit Union Cup beating Redcastle United in both finals, Clonmany Shamrocks also won the Knockalla Caravans Cup beating Fanad United from the Ulster Senior League in the Final, Moville Celtic won the Ulster Junior Cup beating Redcastle United in the Final, Carrowmena F C won the Hannon Greene Fr O’Gara Cup beating Greencastle F C in the final, Moville Reserves won the Top Four Cup beating Glengad United in the Final, Dunree United won the Ulster Senior Shield beating Culdaff F C in the Final, The new season kicks off on the 21st August with the group stages of the West End League Cup

Clonmany Shamrocks did Inishowen Football proud on Sunday night when they beat Fanad United from the Ulster Senior League in the final of the Knockalla Caravans Senior Cup

Moville Reserves completed a treble of trophies this season when they defeated Glengad United 1-0 in the final of the Top Four Cup

Clonmany Shamrocks defeated Redcastle United 2-0 in the Final of the Credit Union Cup

Dunree United ended their season on a high when they defeated Culdaff 2-1 in the Ulster Shield Final in Maginn Park on Saturday evening

Carrowmena have won their first silverware when they defeated Greencastle 3-2 on Sunday to clinch the Fr O'Gara Cup

Glengad United and Moville Celtic Reserves will contest the final of the top four after Glengad beat Illies 1-0 after extra time while Moville reserves defeated Culdaff Reserves 6-5 on penalties after their game ended 1-1 in extra time

Redcastle United have regained the premier division title with a 1-1 draw against Clonmany Shamrocks
