Reserves Team - started out their league campaign with a 4-1 away defeat to Glengad Utd. The game was played in poor conditions with heavy winds and driving rain. Dermot O'Donnell with the goal. A home tie this week with Culdaff reserves, promoted from last year, the visitor. Sunday is 11am

Fun Soccer - this Saturday and every Saturday. The age groups are as follows - Under 8's 9.45am to 11.00am, Under 10's 10.45am to 12 noon, Under 12's & Under 14's from 12.00pm to 1.30pm

USL Team - lost 4-2 away to Swilly Rovers in their penultimate league game of the season. The goals from Garbhain Friel (2), the team will rue a few missed chances to get something from the game. The last remaining fixture is at home to Bonagee United (see local press for KO time)

Youth Team - picked up another 3 points with a 3-0 victory over Sea Rovers @ Celtic Park. The first goal an OG by the visitors, Eamon Porter & Seamus Gill getting the others. No fixture this week for Youth Team. The Youth team get a home draw in the Ulster Junior Cup and play the winners of Dunree United & Tullyvinney Rovers, the date for this fixture tbc later

Reserves Team - having no game last week begin their League campaign this Sunday with an away trip to Glengad reserves. Cockhill did the double over their opponents last year but Glengad seem a stronger outfit this year having just reached the Final of the Reserve League Shield. KO on Sunday is 11am

Stephen Conroy had a good game in nets for Cockhill. The season has only two fixtures remaining with Bonagee United next up this weekend (see local press for fixture details)

Youth Team - bounced back with a very good 1-0 away victory over Rasheney FC on Sunday. The team got the just rewards when substitute David Laird scored the winner with his first touch, shooting high into the corner from a tight angle. The youth team play hosts to Sea Rovers on Sunday next, KO at 2pm. A speedy recovery to Shaun Porter who went of injured after a heavy knock during the game

Reserves Team - travelled away to Sea Rovers and had a convincing 7-0 win in their final Reserve Shield fixture. The goals from Anthony O'Donnell, Gary Breslin (2), Bernard Gubbins, Daniel Bradley, Dermot O'Donnell & Mark Gillespie. The team finished second in their group, behind Carn res, and will feel a little disappointed not to advance to the semi-finals. No fixture this week with the league due to start the following week

In Memory - all associated with the club remember Charlie O'Donnell, our former Chairman, whose anniversary is around this time. Charlie sadly passed away on 8th October 2007 and is deeply missed by all associated with Cockhill Celtic Youth & Football Club

The boys were trailing 2-0 at halftime but put up a great display to score 5 unanswered goals in the second period to record a 5-2 victory. Youth Team - recorded their first league victory of the season on Sunday with a 3-0 away victory over Greencastle FC. The team will be glad for the three points, goals from Aiden Porter, Donny Bell & Seamus Gill. The team have a home fixture this week with Gleenely Colts the visitors on Sunday Sunday next, KO at 2pm

Reserves Team - travelled away to Carndonagh reserves on Sunday with the home side recording a 3-0 victory to avenge the 4-0 defeat they suffered in Cockhill earlier in the 'Shield' campaign. Youth Team - lost out to neighbours Dunree Utd by 5-1 with Martin Donaghey getting the only goal for the home team, the side was missing a few players but the boys will be disappointed to suffer defeat (see local press for next fixture)

Reserves Team - the third string recorded a 2-0 away victory over Gleneely reserves in the 'Reserve League Shield'. The goals from Mark Gillespie & Kevin McDaid. The team have enjoyed a bright start to their Shield campaign and lets hope it continues (see local press for next fixture)

USL Team - had to settle for a point in their league game with Buncrana Hearts on Saturday evening. Gerry Gill put Cockhill in front but Buncrana's got back on level terms soon after. The boys had their chances to win the game, Patrick McLaughlin unlucky twice with frees that hit the bar. This week the boys have an away trip to Convoy Arsenal. The game is scheduled for 2pm on Sunday

Inishowen League Teams - training continues for both Youth & Reserve panel members on Tuesday & Thursday evenings, 7pm sharp on the Astro Pitch

U-10's - the U10's blitz seen the Braves travel to Sea Rovers and the Aces group at home. The Aces have had a great start to the competition having won 4 from 4 in the first two weeks they now have a record of 11 from 12 after week 3. The Braves had one draw in their four matches. The blitz has only a few weeks left and we ask all parents with children taking part to help out over this period

Derry drew level early in the second period but goals from Patrick McLaughlin and Paul McKinney again sealed the victory & points. Buncrana Hearts are the visitors this Sunday 06th September. Youth Team - had their league cup game with Redcastle switched on friday last, due to the weather. The boys lost out by 4-0 to a very good Redcastle side. The youths can now concentrate on the league, this Sunday sees them with an away trip to face Carndonagh FC, KO at 2pm. The players are to report to the clubhouse for 12.30pm sharp

Reserves Team - kick-off their 'Reserve League Shield' campaign with a home tie against Carndonagh this Sunday. The reserve matches are all 11am KO's and players are to report to the clubhouse for 10am sharp. The other teams in the group are Sea Rovers & Gleneely Reserves

Ladies Team - had a tough last week suffering two defeats at the hands of Greencastle FC. Thursday in the league seen Cathal Dohertys team leading 1-0 with five minutes to go only for Greencastle to score twice and claim the points. On Sunday last the ladies lost out in the Malin Hotel Cup final by 5-1, Louise Porter getting the only goal. Their final game of the season is on Thursday night at home to Glengad United with a 7pm KO
