Glengad United and Redcastle United have been handed tough away draws in the 6th round of the FAI Junior Cup Glengad will play City United if Sligo who beat Aileach in the last round, if Redcastle beat Kilbarrack United next Sunday then they face another trip to play Fairview Rangers

Buncrana Hearts won the Charlie O'Donnell Memorial Trophy with a 7-1 victory over Clonmany in the final held in Maginn Park on Friday Night, In the first semi-final Clonmany Shamrocks defeated Redcastle United 2-1 in a game where Clonmany's keeper Paddy Harkin was outstanding, Clonmany''s Stephen Mc Laughlin opened the scoring on 11min Joe Grant made it 2-0 on 25min Redcastle pulled a goal back on 26min through Brian Tracey but Clonmany held their lead to the end, In the second Semi-Final Moville and Buncrana played out a 4-4 draw Moville's Gerry Gill opened the scoring in the 2nd min Declan Fullerton equalised on 10min Nigel Mc Monagle put Moville 2-1 up on 14min Ryan Mc Monagle made it 3-1 on 18min Gerard Mc Laughlin pulled a goal back for Buncrana on 20min then an own goal put Moville 4-2 ahead on 23min but 2 late goals from Declan Fulerton on 28 and 29 min sent the game into golden goal situation which Buncrana's Karl Kelly scored on 31min, The final saw Buncrana race into a 3-0 lead against Clonmany in the opening 7min goals from Stephen Mc Hugh on 3 and 7min and Declan Fullerton on 5min Gerard Mc Laughlin made it 4-0 on the stroke of half time Clonmany pulled a goal back after the restart through Steve Harkin but 2 more goals from Mc Hugh and one from Greg Bradley ment Buncrana ran out comfortable winners

Group A was played in Greencastle,

Buncrana 8 Glengad 2, Rasheney 4 Greencastle 5, Buncrana 16 Greencastle 2, Rasheney 3 Glengad 6, Buncrana 4 Rasheney 1, Glengad 4 Greencastle 5.

Group B was played in Maginn Park

Redcastle United record a 1-0 win over Milford to earn an away trip to play Kilbarrack United from Dublin in the next round

Aileach had a 6-1 victory over Carndonagh and Buncrana and Dunree drew 1-1

Glengad beat Greencastle 4-2 Rasheney had a 3-1 victory over Illies Celtic and Gleneely defeated Carrowmena 2-1

Only three games were played in the reserve leagues today all in the first division Culdaff beat          Gleneely 3-1. Dunree beat Rasheney 2-1 and Quigley's Point Swifts had a 1-0 victory over Greencastle

All Premier games were off today only one game played in the first division Rasheney defeated Gleneely 5-2, One game played in the Reserve Premier Moville beat Aileach 5-1 and two games played in Reserve First Division Greencastle had a 1-0 victory over Rasheney while Dunree beat Carrowmena 5-1
