Section – 10 Eligibility to play in Inishowen League
(01) Players may not be registered or play with more than one affiliated association or any other league during the current season. Except in the case of the Ulster Senior League.
(02) No team may play outside the jurisdiction of the Inishowen League without the prior permission from the Inishowen League.
(03) No player may play for more than one club except in the case of an Ulster Senior League team with a team in the Inishowen League.
(04) In the knock-out competitions:
Any player, who has played in any cup competition and is subsequently transferred, is ineligible to play in the same competition for his new team.
(05) All players having participated in any cup games at any stage of the competition, including all stages of the league cup shall be deemed cup-tied.
(06) Senior and Intermediate clubs who show an interest in signing Junior Players must contact the club concerned about the player.
(07) A request must first come in writing to the league secretary who will then release the player if everything is in order.
(08) If the player is transferred back to the original club the request must come through the delegate meeting.
(09) Players transferring to clubs outside the jurisdiction of the Inishowen League Must secure a written release from the Inishowen League Registrar.
(10) Any player chosen and agreeing to represent the league in the Oscar Traynor Competition and who does not honour that commitment shall be fined Twenty five Euros (€25) and suspended for one game.
