Section 9 Movement of players
(01) Players who are cup tied may not move from one team to the other to participate in any cup game competition in which they may have participated earlier.
(02) Clubs with teams in the USL must submit at list of 10 players for approval to the league managment committee at the start of the season. These 10 players cannot play in the Inshowen League at any time.
(02.2) Clubs with a team in the Ulster Senior League may use up to three (3) senior Players form the Ulster Senior League in Inishowen League games except when: The Senior League team has finished its programme of games with the Senior League and provided they are not on the list of 10 players as stated in Rule 09-02 above
(03) Senior players who have not played in earlier rounds of an Inishowen League competition may not be brought in to strengthen a team in the later stages of that competition.
(03.1) Clubs with teams in the Ulster Senior League can re-grade any amount of players (outside of the named ten) at the end of their season(30th November but can only use three (3) of those players on any day in the Inishowen league.The above players will be allowed to return to the USLat the commencement of their season in April
(04) The League Management Committee may request and must be given the names of senior players which the club intends to play.
(05) If it is found that senior players are included for the sole purpose of strengthening the team then they may be ruled out.
(06) On any occasion where the League Management Committee considers that a reserve team has been unfairly loaded with first team players, the club concerned may be disciplined.
(07) No player signed in the Ulster Senior League or the Inishowen League Premier Division may play in the Father O’Gara cup –except Under 18 players who have not started five games for their senior team.
(08) Reserve players will be allowed to participate in the West End League Cup Stages without affecting their Fr O’Gara Cup status.
(09) No player signed in the Ulster Senior League or the Inishowen League Premier Division and is subsequently transferred down to Inishowen League First Division or Reserve Division may play in the Father O’Gara cup.
(10) No player signed in the Premier Division of the Donegal League will be permitted to play in the Father O’Gara Cup.
(11) Senior League Players may play only for the Inishowen Junior team which is in the higher division of the league.
(12) There will be free movement of players from the Reserve League team to the team in the higher division
(13) Movement from the higher division to the reserve team must not be for the purpose of strengthening the reserve team
(14) Reserve teams can only name up to two signed First Team players in any Reserve League game.
(15) Once a club first team season finishes then their reserve team may not include any signed first team players
(16) In the Top Four Challenge Cup
(1)First Division Teams are restricted to their named panel of 16
(2) Reserve Teams can play any signed player outside their named 16
