Section – 14 Participation in Competitions

(01) In the event of any club finding it impossible to continue to participate in the league competitions, their resignation should be tendered in writing to the league secretary. All points for matches played or un-played shall be declared void and shall not be credited.

(02) In the event that any team is suspended from the league all matches shall be declared void.

(03) Players signed for any club withdrawing from competitions will immediately become the property of the league.

(04) A club or clubs winning a trophy must enter into a bond to ensure the safe keeping and return of the trophy when requested.

(05) Any club or player winning an award during the season is required to have a representative attend the presentation function to receive the award. Failure to do so will result in disciplinary action.

(06) Promotion and relegation shall be two up and two down or at the discretion of the Management Committee.

(07) No club may have two teams in the premier division.

(08) Each club, when required shall place its players and grounds at the disposal of the Management Committee, Failure to do so could result in the expulsion of the dissident clubs or players from the league.

(09) Any club proved to have played ineligible players in any game shall be adjudged to have lost the match and any other match in which they may have played or otherwise be dealt with as the Management/Disciplinary Committee may determine.

(10) Every club must have sufficient players signed to cover all competitions under the jurisdiction of the Inishowen League.
